Johnson Electric introduces a new small size high force Linear Stepper Motor
The new 20mm UAL linear actuator is a small powerhouse. With a resolution of 21 um per full step, it has a constant force of up to 30 N over the full travel range of 15mm. The compact housing, with a 20mm external diameter, is supported by a direct cable outlet.
The design of the actuator can be engineered as a bipolar or unipolar stepper motor, as well as a synchronous motor (max. 50 Vac.). The linear actuator is ideal for use in positioning units, valves and medical dosing pumps, and in locking systems. It is available with a unique quick mounting flange.
