MEDER electronic Inc.: At 4mm, the KSK-1A04 series is the smallest Reed Switch presently on the market featuring flat contact terminals. Its flat contact terminals provide the advantage of a larger contact surface for SMD soldering and ensure exact placement during automatic assembly.
Typical applications for this Miniature Magnetic Reed Switch are contactless sensors for position detection and as a limit switch in conunction with a permanent magnet. It is especially suitable for all low-power applications in miniature devices, medical technologies, or in any fields where space constraints are an issue.
